Proficiency testing (PT) is defined as the evaluation of laboratory performance against predetermined conditions by means of interlaboratory comparisons. Proficiency testing provides objective evidence of the laboratory competence within the context of a comprehensive laboratory quality system. IARMA has established a regular environmental radioactivity proficiency testing scheme that aims to provide assurance for the analytical performance of the radiological and environmental laboratories and helping them to meet accreditation requirements.
The IARMA environmental radioactivity proficiency test is conducted according to predefined criteria, for more information please refer to: PT General Procedure and Criteria for environmental radioactivity proficiency test.
To help us to meet customer needs for proficiency testing, please complete a simple questionnaire (this should take less than one minute).
